‘The Lost City Of Z’ Trailer: It Is Your Destiny, Charlie Hunnam

“What you seek is far greater than you ever imagined.” Sounds exciting. “Your soul will never be quiet until you find this place.” Sounds enticing. “I strongly advise you to abort the mission.” Sounds about right.

Here is the first full trailer for The Lost City of Z, writer-director James Gray’s adaptation of David Grann’s nonfiction book about Col. Percival Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam), a British explorer who vanished while trying to find an ancient city in the Amazon.

Venturing deep into the jungle, Fawcett discovers evidence of a previously unknown, advanced civilization. Hunnam delivers a few decidedly Jax Teller-like whispered lines as he tries to convince doubters that the “savages” he seeks actually are civilized and reassures his wife (Sienna Miller) that everything will be just fine, despite his being gone for long stretches. He is supported by his son (Tom Holland) and aide-de-camp (Robert Pattinson) as he returns time and again to the region — until his disappearance under mysterious circumstances in 1925. Maybe it had something to do with all those spears whipping through the air.

From Amazon Studios and Bleecker Street, Lost City of Z opens April 14 in L.A. and NYC, followed by a wide rollout the following week. Check out the teaser above, and tell us what you think.

Charlie Hunnam Fan has a brand new look & URL!

Hey, guys! So I realized it had been quite a long time since I gave the site some much-needed love and attention. That being said I decided to give the site a much overdue revamp with a new site and gallery theme. I thought something more minimalistic compared to my previous theme would be a nice change up. Please feel free to leave your thoughts on the new design in the comments. I’d love to hear what y’all think.

That being said, I also have another little nugget of news about the site; Charlie Hunnam Fan now has a brand new URL! I know this has been confusing to you visitors, but if you will recall in August of 2015 the site was forced to change URL’s because of a big issue with our old website host. Well, since then I had been hoping to purchase my old domain back but that just wasn’t happening so instead I kept an eye on other domain names and finally one came available and you can bet your tushy I snatched it up! 😉

You can of course still visit the site via our old URL of charlie-hunnam.net but the new URL is now charlie-hunnam.net – So please change your bookmarks for future reference.

New ‘King Arthur’ Trailer Unsheathes Charlie Hunnam As Excalibur Hero

“From nothing comes a king,” promises this new trailer for Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and the filmmaker’s certainly found a new way into the Arthurian mythos. Starring Charlie Hunnam as the man with the Excalibur, King Arthur looks more action-packed and stylish than we’re used to seeing in our ancient English folklore.

The clip, which is set to air during today’s AFC/NFC broadcasts, opens with Hunnam’s Arthur intoning, “I am here now because of you – you created me.” Who the “you” is remains something of a mystery, which presumably will be answered when the film hits theaters May 12.

In addition to Hunnam, King Arthur stars Jude Law as his power-grabbing uncle, and Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen and Eric Bana. Ritchie directs from a screenplay by Joby Harold and Ritchie & Lionel Wigram, with a story by David Dobkin and Joby Harold. The film is produced by Akiva Goldsman, Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, and Steve Clark-Hall, Ritchie and Lionel Wigram. David Dobkin and Bruce Berman are executive producers.

The film will be distributed in North America by Warner Bros. Pictures and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.
